Located in the southeast corner of Devil’s Lake State Park, this “lost world” requires visitors to be comfortable with everything from steep climbs, to ticks & rock-hop stream crossings. The reward for your effort is an amazing 20ft ephemeral waterfall & a rushing mountain stream within a deep secluded gorge.

We begin with an easy descent through the forest into the gorge where things will then get more difficult. We’ll work our way downstream making many stream crossings while navigating the brushy, muddy & rocky terrain. The return ascent isn’t technical, but it is 190 ft up a steep hill with no stairs.

Due to the temporary nature of the waterfalls, we only offer this tour from April 15 to June 15 (weather dependent)

Ideal For:  Anyone 12 years and older.

Distance: 2.5 Miles
