This 2-hour adventure hike leads you through a wild and beautiful part of the park while still just minutes from major trails and the north shore day use area. Participants can expect to spend most of this adventure rock-hopping down a wild stream surrounded by the sounds of birds and tumbling water. (And keep an eye out for the shy resident Wood Ducks!). We’ll also see some glacial formations, scree fields & rocky outcrops along the way. Near the end of our hike the valley will open up and we will arrive back in the busy north shore area. From here we can take another path back to our cars adding another hour to the trip or if you’ve shuttled your group, you can end the day on the beach!

This hike is a great introduction to the “backcountry” for scouts, teens and “tweens” that ends just about the time they are ready for a change of scene!

Season: Best from April 15th to June 15th but may be run later depending on conditions.
